Import and output fixtures

Use these fixtures for narrow format and output questions rather than broad product evaluation.

Projects

Inspect small Altium, board-geometry, and manufacturing-output packages with downloadable source and result files.

MigrationImport fixture

Altium source-to-result compatibility fixture

Inspect a pinned Altium PCB and schematic beside converter-produced KiCad files and machine-readable Resin conversion reports.

2 source files2 converter outputs2 conversion reports

Useful for: Altium PCB and schematic parsing, KiCad-format file generation, and count-level conversion checks.

All files, source, and known limits
  • The PCB report measures selected counts and structure; it is not a complete visual or electrical-fidelity certification.
  • The pad-count discrepancy is unresolved in this fixture and prevents a full-parity claim.
  • No Resin service-state project, ERC/DRC clearance, fabrication, or hardware validation is included.

InterchangeGeometry fixture

Board-geometry import fixture

Compare two pinned Altium board-outline sources with their converter-produced KiCad files and bounded structural check reports.

2 board variants2 converter outputs2 bounded reports

Useful for: Board outline, drawing geometry, coordinate bounds, and KiCad-format PCB generation for two source variants.

All files, source, and known limits
  • This is intentionally a geometry-only compatibility fixture, not an electronic design or finished board.
  • A 100% report score applies only to the checks represented in the JSON report; it does not establish universal import fidelity.
  • No routing, component, rule, 3D-model, ERC/DRC, or manufacturing evidence is present.

ManufacturingManufacturing fixture

Import-to-manufacturing output fixture

Trace a licensed Altium board through a converter-produced PCB into actual Resin-generated fabrication and assembly files.

100% defined import score17 placed components25 manufacturing artifacts

Useful for: Altium PCB import followed by fabrication, drill, BOM, pick-and-place, and assembly export from the converter-produced result.

All files, source, and known limits
  • The manufacturing files are actual Resin exporter outputs but have not been independently CAM-inspected, fabricated, or accepted by an assembler.
  • The generated BOM has nine grouped lines and no populated pricing; it does not prove variant or live-sourcing behavior.
  • STEP is deliberately absent because no verified repository-backed STEP result exists, and source 3D-model coverage is zero.

How to use these files

Inspect the source, result, and report as separate things.

A render can show structure, a conversion report can show measured differences, and an output file can be opened by a receiver. None of those alone proves the entire workflow.
Check identity

Use the published revision, hashes, license, and provenance before comparing files.

Open the actual files

Use an appropriate independent tool rather than judging compatibility from a screenshot.

Keep the stated boundary

Do not describe third-party boards as designed in Resin or uninspected outputs as manufacturing-approved.
